The first thing to mention is we just announced the release of our brand new book that I've written with my good friend Mark Evans called "Secrets of stage Success".
Louise Dearman (Wicked, Evita, Guys and Dolls) and Mark Evans (The Book of Mormon, Ghost the Musical, Wicked) are two of the biggest stars in musical theatre, with a wealth of experience and legions of committed fans.
In their new ‘crowd-sourced’ book, Secrets of Stage Success, they share their hard-earned knowledge and personal experience, answering questions submitted to them by fans and members of the public via a specially commissioned website.
Hundreds of questions were sent in from all around the world, and the pick of them are featured here, including: 'Can anyone be an actor?’ ‘How can I improve my vocal range?’ ‘How do I progress from the ensemble to a leading role?’ Unlike many other training books, from the very beginning Secrets of Stage Success was designed to cover exactly what the readers wanted to know.
The book is fully illustrated throughout. A dedicated website, www.secretsofstagesuccess.com, will launch on publication.

Louise Dearman and Kerry Ellis Live in Concert Together Prince Edward Theatre Sunday 27th Sept 2015
West End stars, Kerry Ellis and Louise Dearman will come together for a one-off concert here at the Prince Edward Theatre in London’s West End. Kerry and Louise have known each other for nearly 20 years and have not duetted since leaving Laine Theatre Arts in 1998. Between them they have played nearly every iconic leading female role including Elphaba in Wicked, Nancy in Oliver, Eva Peron in Evita, Grizabella in Cats to name but a few. Their careers haven't allowed them to perform together....until now. For the first time these two true glamour cats will be performing together on the same stage, at the Prince Edward Theatre.
They will be bringing their musical magic to the Prince Edward stage with an evening of iconic duets sung by two of the best leading ladies the West End has ever seen. I released a brand new MUSICAL THEATRE album in December, called "It's Time", packed full of all the classics plus a gorgeous duet of "Falling Slowly" from Once with Shayne Ward. I hope you like it.
Working on this album has been a whole new experience for me. For years I shied away from singing or recording iconic musical theatre songs and tried to find less known material, but this year felt like the right time to embrace all those truly wonderful classics and put them together with some beautiful orchestrations on my new album. It's really taken me back to my roots and I'm very, very proud of the end product.
