Louise stars in Brand New Musical - Water Babies April 24th - 17th May 2014

Tom, our orphaned teenage hero, is framed for a crime he didn't commit. In a desperate attempt to escape capture he is trapped on the edge of a waterfall. His only choice is to jump. Awakening in the depths of the ocean he encounters a whole new world of enchantment, danger and adventure.

Desperate to get back to the girl he loves Tom must brave underwater challenges in a world beyond his wildest imagination. Together with the unlikeliest of friends he embarks on a quest to find a way back to land. However he soon finds it's not just his fate he holds in his hands, but also that of the mysterious and elusive gang of Water Babies.

It's time for Tom to face his worst fears....it's time to believe that anything is possible.

Inspired by Charles Kingsley's much-loved novel, this spellbinding new production uses some of the most sophisticated special effects ever seen on stage.

Tom Lister, star of ITV's Emmerdale, now joins West End star Louise Dearman alongside Thomas Milner and Lauren Samuels in leading this incredible cast. Tom is best known for his role as Carl King in the hugely popular, long-running TV show, while Louise was the first actress to play both Elphaba and Glinda in the smash-hit musical Wicked. Her other theatre credits include Evita, Guys and Dolls and Joseph. Thomas Milner will be a familiar face to fans of BBC's Waterloo Road, having also featured in Holby City and Doctors, and Lauren Samuels was a finalist in the hugely popular BBC1 series Over the Rainbow which searched for a lead in Andrew Lloyd Webber's production of The Wizard of Oz; she has since starred in We Will Rock You and Grease.

Louise Dearman Capital One Cup Final March 2nd

Louise is honoured to be singing the national anthem at the Capital One Cup Final on Sunday March 2nd between Manchester City & Sunderland at Wembley Stadium.

Nash Ensemble; David White conductor; Louise Dearman, Kim Criswell and William Burden - Wigmore Hall March 8th 2014

Programme to include concert selections with narration from the musical Do I hear a Waltz? with music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

The Nash Ensemble's American series goes to Broadway, with a concert devoted to the pre-eminent theatre composer Richard Rodgers.

His sixty-year career fell into three parts, 'Acts I and II' with lyricists Lorenz Hart and Oscar Hammerstein II, followed by 'Act III', in which he worked with such outstanding lyricists as Martin Charnin, Sheldon Harnick and Hammerstein's prote'ge' Stephen Sondheim.

The programme includes highlights from the show he wrote with Sondheim, Do I Hear a Waltz?, rarely performed and never seen in the West End. Based on Arthur Laurents's play The Time of the Cuckoo (filmed as Summertime, with Katharine Hepburn), Do I Hear a Waltz? tells the bitter-sweet romantic story of a group of American tourists visiting Venice, its witty, edgy lyrics matched by Rodgers's ravishingly memorable melodies.

Louise to release brand new album "It's Time" Dec 2nd 2013

I released a brand new album on December 2nd, called "It's Time".

Working on this album has been a whole new experience for me. For years I shied away from singing or recording iconic musical theatre songs and tried to find less known material, but this year felt like the right time to embrace all those truly wonderful classics and put them together with some beautiful orchestrations on my new album. It's really taken me back to my roots and I'm very, very proud of the end product.

You can order a signed copy of the album here: order a signed copy of "Its Time" Or from iTunes here: iTunes

Louise Dearman and Mark Evans to collaborate on a new book, "The Secrets Of Stage Success"

Louise Dearman (Wicked, Guys and Dolls, Evita) and Mark Evans (The Book of Mormon, Ghost, Oklahoma!), two of the biggest musical-theatre stars working today, are asking for their fans’ help to write a new book, The Secrets of Stage Success.

The book, a guide for those who want to follow in Louise and Mark’s footsteps and develop their own careers as performers, will answer questions submitted by the public on a wide range of theatre topics. It will be published by leading theatre publisher Nick Hern Books in 2014.

Questions can be submitted via a dedicated website, www.secretsofstagesuccess.com, until 14 October 2013.

They can be about any stage-related topic – whether it’s applying to drama
school, nailing auditions, how to overcome stage fright, a specific highlight of Louise and Mark’s careers, or something else entirely. All questions included in the final book will be printed with the asker’s name.

Everyone who submits a question will be entered into a draw to win exciting prizes, including tickets to see Louise and Mark live on stage, and will also receive a special thank-you letter from the authors.

Louise and Mark said: ‘We knew we wanted to write something that would be genuinely helpful for aspiring performers and people who want to work in showbusiness. Which is why we want their questions, so that we can write something really useful for them. ‘Over the years we’ve picked up lots of tips from other performers, and have developed our own strategies and solutions too. Now we want to pass on what we’ve learnt. ‘We want to cover all aspects of working in the theatre industry, and hope to answer questions on lots of different topics. We can’t wait to see what people ask us!’

GOOD WITCH TURNS WICKED: FORMER 'GLINDA' LOUISE DEARMAN RETURNS
TO STAR AS 'ELPHABA' IN FIRST FOR MUSICAL WICKED

Wicked, the smash hit West End musical, is proud to announce that Louise Dearman, who played Glinda to huge acclaim from March 2010 to December 2011, will return to star as Elphaba from Monday 29 October 2012. Louise Dearman commented: "As an actress, you strive to challenge yourself to play as many diverse roles as possible throughout your career, and right now I feel like the luckiest girl in the history of musical theatre. I still can't quite believe that in two months' time I'll be back in Wicked, but this time I won't come and go by Bubble, I'll be on a broomstick"!

UK Executive Producer Michael McCabe said: "From her wonderful performance as Glinda, audiences already know that Louise possesses a stunning voice and remarkable acting abilities, so we are genuinely excited to now welcome her back to Wicked as Elphaba. We have all been awestruck by the way Louise has channelled her incredible talents to inhabit this iconic role, and I've no doubt that audiences will be equally thrilled". The multi award-winning Wicked has already been seen by over 4.5 million people since its West End premiere in 2006 at the Apollo Victoria Theatre.
